The License: Yummy FTP is licensed on a per-user basis, which means that it is licensed to the registered user, not the machine it is installed on. This allows the registered user to install the software on as many machines as he/she owns, but only the registered user may use the software. This differs from many other license systems which require a separate license per machine installation, but we think that people buy software, not machines.

Multi-User Licenses: A single license can be purchased which allows the software to be used by a specific number of people. These licenses attract a significant discount on the standard single user license, depending on the number of users licensed. Discounts are as shown in the table on the right:

Site Licenses: A special license may be purchased which allows an unlimited number of users to use the software within an organization. The pricing of such a license is dependant upon the intial number of users within the organization at the outset of the license. We are more than happy to negotiate pricing to suit your budget. Other Disounts: A discount of $8 per user license is available to educational and non-profit organizations upon request. This discount is applied in addition to any multi-user discount. Contact our Sales Team.

Distribution: The trial copy of Yummy FTP that is available for download here may be distributed on internal or public web sites, as part of shareware collections, and with books, magazines, and commercial software, provided that the file is unmodified.
